SuperPower is proud to make solar energy attainable for every school in New Zealand. NZ’s 100% Sustainable Energy target is now one step closer.
We provide schools the tools and resources to reduce power costs, increase sustainability and empower students for a brighter future.

Schools are struggling to trim Utility Costs as these costs are one of the few areas of a school’s budget that cannot be reduced without negatively affecting the student experience, growing numbers of administrators are exploring the benefits of solar power for schools.
School facilities are excellent candidates for solar conversion, particularly campuses spread out over a wide area. For schools, solar panels can easily offset monthly utility bills. With a larger installation, it may even be possible to switch to 100% renewable energy. In addition, solar energy in schools presents a great teaching opportunity that can enrich classroom content with real-world examples of the benefits of renewable energy.
Super Power can offer flexible finance option that can help schools transform into solar learning schools.

What our clients say about us
Waiuku College installed a 25kW array in early 2017 using Superpower.
The Board had predetermined to fully fund the project and professional evaluation had indicated that we would save $8000 to $9000 per year from our Annual Power bill which was close to $100,000 per annum. As of end June we had made savings of about $5000 from about 5 months use. This stalled over July and August during the short days with poor weather. However we are now in September seeing savings increase again and fully expect that we will achieve our initial savings goal for the first 12 months of operation.
It is our expectation that the panels will pay for themselves in the first 7 years and given they have a life span of 25 years we expect to realise some real long term savings on our annual electricity bill!

I am happy to recommend Superpower to schools considering installation of a Solar Array.
